What you will be doing 

As our new Process Project & Sales Specialist (Meat & Dairy | France), you will own and accelerate sales growth of our in-line / process analytical solutions by hunting, shaping and closing complex, high-value opportunities from lead generation to installation acceptance.

You will operate as a national overlay specialist, co-selling with two Industry Sales Managers and reporting to the Team Leader. Your edge is demo-led selling: running convincing in-line demonstrations and trials on customer production lines to turn proof into decisions and investments, with ability to address key strategic stakeholders at customers to support their efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hunt and build a qualified pipeline for in-line/process projects in Meat (secondary in Dairy and other industries to a lesser extend) across France (site audits, installed base mining, trigger-based prospecting).  You’ll be supported by Product Application Specialist beyond segment central support.
  • Drive complex qualification and win strategy: stakeholder mapping, decision process, technical/IT constraints, competitive positioning and next-step discipline.
  • Lead in-line demos and trials on production lines: define protocols, train operators, govern data quality and align QA acceptance criteria.
  • Design the right solution architecture (measurement points, sampling strategy, hygiene/CIP constraints, connectivity and reporting) and translate it into a compelling proposal.
  • Create customer-specific ROI/PIP business cases and executive-ready decision material to justify investment.
  • Coordinate a virtual account team (territory ISMs, applications, service, projects/operations) to deliver a seamless customer journey.
  • Lead pricing, approvals and negotiations for complex deals, protecting profitability while securing clear scope and commitments.
  • Ensure robust handover to installation and post-install success (acceptance, adoption, performance review) and drive expansion to additional lines/sites.

  • Proven B2B hunter with success selling complex solution projects (industrial instrumentation / analytical / process solutions) – long sales cycles.
  • Strong in-line demo & trial capability: protocol design, validation logic, data interpretation and turning results into customer decisions.
  • Meat industry acumen is a must and credibility with Production/QA/Engineering (Dairy knowledge is a plus).
  • Value engineering mindset: build ROI/PIP cases and sell on value; confident in negotiation and price/margin discipline.
  • Technical curiosity and understanding of manufacturing realities (hygiene/CIP, uptime, sampling) and basic automation/connectivity concepts.
  • Structured sales execution with strong CRM/forecast discipline (Salesforce).
  • Fluent French and professional English.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work hands-on in production environments (including cold warehouses).
