Are you ready to lead and develop social media at FOSS? Do you understand what creates real engagement on corporate LinkedIn channels and how content, visuals, and tone support a global market leader’s profile?
We are looking for a hands-on and driven Head of Social Media who can take full ownership of FOSS’ social media presence, ensure high-quality execution across channels, and support our new CEO and senior management in using LinkedIn professionally and effectively.
The job
As Head of Social Media, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and developing FOSS’ presence across all social media channels. Your main focus will be corporate LinkedIn, but you will oversee all platforms and ensure consistent quality, tone, and timing across channels.
From idea to execution, you will turn strategy, stories, and business priorities into engaging social media content that fits FOSS’ profile as a global market leader. You will know what works, when to use short video, graphics, or plain text, and how to balance creativity with clarity and relevance.
You will be part of the Corporate Communications team, which covers internal and external communication, social media, public affairs, and CEO support. You will report to the Director of Communications & Public Relations and work closely with colleagues across Communications, Marketing, HR & Sustainability, and senior leadership.
Your role will be based in the corner office at FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød, the hub for FOSS’ global operations across 34 countries.
Your primary responsibilities
- Own and develop FOSS’ social media strategy with a strong focus on corporate LinkedIn
- Drive and further develop FOSS’ employee advocacy program, FOSS Fluence, in close collaboration with Corporate Communications
- Plan, create, and publish content across FOSS’ social media channels
- Know what creates engagement and apply it consistently across formats such as short video, graphics, and text
- Ensure a strong and consistent visual and tonal quality that fits FOSS’ brand and global profile
- Support senior management with content, sparring, and guidance for their personal LinkedIn profiles
- Coordinate social media efforts with PR, events, campaigns, and internal communication
- Keep a clear overview of content calendars, publishing flow, and peak periods with high activity
- Monitor performance and engagement and adjust content and timing accordingly
About you
This is a hands-on role that requires both creativity and strong execution skills. You enjoy creating content but are equally comfortable planning, prioritizing, and keeping things moving when many posts go live across multiple channels.
We imagine that you:
- Have solid experience working with corporate social media, especially LinkedIn
- Understand what drives engagement and visibility on LinkedIn in a professional, corporate context
- Have a strong visual sense and know what a “good image” looks like for a global market leader
- Are comfortable working with short video, graphics, and text-based content
- Can balance creativity with structure and deadlines
- Have strong writing skills with the ability to craft short, sharp and engaging content in both English and Danish
- Are calm and organized in peak situations with many posts, stakeholders, and deadlines
- Are proactive, pragmatic, and focused on getting things done
This role does not include employee management, but it requires clear ownership and close collaboration across the organization.
