Pulses on the rise

Discover how pulse crops are shaping the future of sustainable plant-based protein. Watch webinar with insights from Pulse Canada on quality and industry growth.

The dried seeds of pulse crops are getting popular. They provide an alternative high-protein food source, and with climate changes and a growing population, their usability as a raw material will grow in the years to come.

Despite the increase in demand, the pulse market remains highly fragmented and faces significant challenges in value chain coherence, including supply, quality control, processing, and finished product sales.

We have invited Janelle Carlin, Director, Quality and Processing at Pulse Canada, to share her experience on working with pulse quality and new revenue streams. Pulse Canada is the national association representing the largest global exporter of pulse crops and is working to improve the profitability and thus the viability of the industry by enhancing value and reducing costs.
