What you will be doing

As Industry Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business and sales of the FOSS solutions in all segments for the total solutions portfolio including on-line and at-line solutions. You will also be responsible for the sales of Analytical Solutions to new and existing customers in Korea and will have overall responsibility for achieving sales budget and set Customer satisfaction targets. We expect you to establish the annual business plan and execute the plan for your responsible segment.

You will be in charge of maintaining CRM/Pipeline records updated and accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM (SalesForce) system.

You will work in constant and close cooperation/dialogue with FOSS Korea colleagues as well as with the global organization. You will be the one providing input to marketing/sales with respect to competition and competitive pricing including products, applications, new product development etc. In addition, we expect you to participate in trade shows and to travel as necessary to cover the territory

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve budget targets
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunity
  • Promote FOSS products, service and digital solutions
  • Develop sales strategies for market segments
  • Track customer activities, quotation, and opportunities through CRM system
  • Report to F-KOR Managing Director

We hope to see you bring:

  • Our ideal candidate comes with 2~5 years’ experience in a sales role in a business-to-business capital equipment sales environment - experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments in the Food/Agricultural/Feed/Meat/Grain industries is strongly preferred
  • You hold a technical degree at minimum Bachelor/Master I with a strong DNA in the business, as well as a proven strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales.
  • You have proven experience in Value Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition).
  • Knowledge of the Food/Agri business and top decision makers access would be appreciated.
  • You have good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite applications such as PowerPoint and Excel required, that will be an asset to prepare proposals and presentations.

If you have experience within Near Infrared spectrometer (NIR) sales and application it is an advantage, but not a must.
