Personal Assistant to SVP, Sales
We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant who can operate at both a strategic and an operational level, and who will be the structured counterweight to a young, energetic and fast-moving Senior Vice President, Sales.
Our SVP has a busy agenda, many tasks, great ideas in motion, and a global organizsation to lead. With a high pace, and many people and projects that demands on his time, your role is to turn that energy into focus: creating structure, anticipating needs, and making sure time and attention go to what matters most. You will be a trusted partner who helps shape priorities, protects focus and maintains momentum across the global Sales organization and the wider company.
You will also own the practical coordination behind a well-functioning leadership rhythm, plan energising social events, and support communication activities.
What you will be doing
Key words could be “leadership rhythm and planning”.
As PA you make sure that the SVP has the fundamentals covered: travel, briefing material, follow-up, and the many small things that could otherwise fall through the cracks.
You will own the SVP's calendar and plan well ahead. You build realistic plans with buffers, and you adjust quickly when plans change, so a demanding schedule remains manageable, both at work and outside of it.
As part of the global sales team, you will be owning the annual cycle and planning activities, deadlines and milestones around it. Over time, you build a solid understanding of business priorities so you can make good judgement calls independently.
You prepare, coordinate and follow up on leadership meetings, including agendas, material, decisions and actions, and you make sure agreed actions actually happen.
In addition to coordinating and planning the SVP’s travel, there will also be a number of events for the global leadership group that you will be planning. That includes arranging social gatherings, off-sites and events that bring the department and colleagues together across teams.
You will also follow up on the budget for the SVP's area, keeping track of spending on travel, events and other activities, and flagging deviations in good time. Alongside this, you handle a range of administrative tasks, such as expense reports, invoice approvals, and practical support when new team members join.
What you will bring
We are looking for a profile with solid experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or in a similar coordinating role close to senior leadership, ideally supporting a busy, fast-paced leader.
You are highly structured by nature and create systems, routines and an overview that others can rely on, and you keep them running when things get hectic. That also means that you should be proactive and take ownership – you don’t wait to be asked.
We communicate in an open and honest way, so you should be confident enough to challenge, reprioritizse and push back constructively. You are a sparring partner, not just a scheduler.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who can say yes to:
- Being strong operationally and delivering high quality without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Having the ability to stay calm and flexible when priorities change at short notice
- Having a natural feel for people and situations, building trust easily and handling confidential information with discretion
- Enjoying technology and exploring new ways of working smarter – perhaps with help from AI? Experience with social media, particularly LinkedIn, is an advantage.
- Bringing positive energy and a good sense of humour.
Corporate language is English, but there might also be communication needed in Danish, which means that full working proficiency in English and Danish, written and spoken, is required.
Culture and what we offer
- A close working relationship with a senior leader and real influence on how the Sales leadership team works
- A broad network across FOSS, from leadership to specialists
- An informal, engaged and ambitious culture where we take ownership, collaborate and help each other succeed
FOSS is committed to maintaining an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce. You can help us sustain an unbiased recruitment process by not including photo or age in your application.
