The job
- As a Senior Electronics Engineer within our Electronics team, you’ll have the chance to engage with every facet of electronic development. From early design planning all the way to supporting products into production.
- You will have the responsibility of closely collaborating with other electronics engineers and embedded software engineers to develop the electronics, so that it integrates well into our platforms and instruments.
- Our instruments rely on a broad spectrum of technologies, and we are therefore looking for a designer with a well‑rounded technical profile, supported by deep expertise where it truly counts. Solid experience with analog signal circuitry, as it forms the core of many of our designs.
- You will play a key role in developing our next‑generation electronics designs. Your work will span defining and meeting design requirements, as well as performing hands‑on testing and creating clear documentation.
- You will be part of our electronics department while also in periods sitting directly in an instrument design team, giving you daily collaboration and insight into how your electronics shape the final product.
- We are seeking an engineer with both the mindset and skillset to navigate a wide variety of design challenges in our evolving electronics landscape.
- You should enjoy working in a dynamic matrix organization where professional development and knowledge‑sharing are prioritized.
The candidate:
- You have a keen interest in developing electronic products, especially working closely with embedded software. You thrive in taking ideas from concept to implementation and are eager to take on responsibility and show leadership in your tasks.
- You communicate clearly, stay organized, and bring ambition and drive to your work, and you enjoy sharing your expertise with the team and keeping a positive mindset—even when deadlines are tight or challenges arise.
- You have experience collaborating with experts from other domains (such as mechanics, systems engineering, or optics) and understand where typical pitfalls occur—and how to navigate them effectively.
- If you have around 5–10 years of experience and enjoy working with complex systems and new technologies, we would be excited to hear from you.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in electronics engineering and are fluent in English. Danish language skills are considered an advantage.
The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas:
- Electronics development: (analog, digital)
- Design experience with Orcad/Cadence and simulation tools
- Understanding how to design for EMC, so your designs integrate well into products.
- Structured design, planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
