Example disclaimer

Scenario: Working hours, 8 hours. Throughput in an 8-hours workday, assuming 7 hours of measurement time (the first hour is spent on getting the instrument ready and preparing the first cassette), is around 357 measured samples.

(< 60 samples/hour, of which up to six in a cassette are standardization plus any instrument check samples = 51 actual samples/hour).

Why labs choose Micral™

Five key benefits of Micral™

Cost per analysis

Lower cost per sample

Batch handling and automation reduce operator time, while chemical-free testing removes reagent-related costs - helping drive a lower cost per analysis.

0
Hazardous reagents

No hazardous chemicals

Micral™ enables chemical-free quantitative testing, reducing exposure to hazardous chemistry and lowering the burden linked to disposal, handling, and environmental risk.

Up to 60
Samples per batch

Higher throughput, faster results

Unattended batch runs with the 60-sample autosampler cassette support higher throughput and free staff to focus on other lab tasks.

100%
Traceable samples

Built-in traceability

Barcode-based sample identification and logging support traceable results and help reduce the risk of sample swaps or workflow mix-ups.

< 7 Days
Routine use ready

Minimal onboarding, consistent throughput

Designed for routine use, Micral™ helps labs reduce operator dependency and maintain consistent day-to-day throughput with a simpler testing workflow.

FAQS

Micral™ is a fully automated LIBS-based solution designed to dramatically speed up element/mineral analysis in agricultural samples, delivering valid results much faster than traditional wet chemistry workflows.

Micral™ measures 12 elements simultaneously: 6 macro (Ca, Mg, P, K, Na, S) and 6 micro (Al, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn). It’s positioned for feed/forage matrices such as silage and hay types, as well as plant tissue. And it doesn’t stop there; more applications will be added in the future.

Valid results for dried & ground samples (time-to-answer), with an instrument analysis time of minutes. An autosampler cassette for up to 60 samples enables unattended batch runs, supporting high throughput and freeing staff for other tasks.

Micral™ is designed to reduce workflow friction by eliminating hazardous chemical digestion steps (chemical-free quantitative testing), improving operator safety and reducing environmental risks linked to chemical disposal.
