Foss Pacific Training courses

Location: FOSS Academy, Melbourne. Other locations (including customer's site) are available by request.

User and Maintenance Training and Certification courses are designed to provide certification-level training for FOSS analytical instruments and software, helping you get the most out of your instrument! Each training course includes instrument specific user and maintenance instruction, and all participants have the opportunity to become certified maintenance providers for their respective FOSS instruments.

FoodScan 2

FoodScan / FoodScan 2 Training

Duration:
½ Day.

Applicable for:
Operators and maintainers of the instrument.

Topics covered:
- Review, set up and use FoodScan software for routine analysis;
- Basic hardware maintenance;

- Troubleshooting (Diagnostic Reports);
- Remote support;
- Lamp changeover.


Optional calibration training is available.

MeatMaster™ II

MeatMaster™ I / II Training

Duration:
1 Day  (optional calibration training + ½ day).
 
Applicable for:
Operators and maintainers of MeatMaster I or II.
 
Topics covered:
- Theory of operation and safety;
- Nova software;
- MosaicSolo / FossManager;
- Cleaning and routine maintenance requirements.

Optional calibration training:
- Validation process;
- Optimisation of instrument accuracy.

MilkoScan™ FT1 Training

Duration:
1 Day  (optional calibration training + ½ day).

Applicable for:
Operators and maintainers of the instrument.

Topics covered:
- Presentation and practical demonstration of the FT1 software;
- Flow system presentation and practical hands-on work;
- Troubleshooting and routine maintenance practical exercises.

Optional calibration training:
- Running calibration samples and creating sample sets;
- Performing Slope/Intercept adjustments in a validation;
- Calibration development.

FossManager™ Basic Training

Duration:

1.5 Hours.

 
Applicable for:
Operators, managers and anyone wishing to monitor instrument performance  remotely. 
 
Topics covered:
- Connecting instruments to the network;
- Instrument set up;
- Hardware monitoring and software updates.
 
Pre-requisite:
Some experience with the relevant instrument operation.
