In our Finance department we have high ambitions and hope you will share our goal of supporting FOSS subsidiaries around the world in the most professional way. Your future colleagues are specialists and controllers, focused on delivering accurate, reliable, and relevant financial data. Our key objective is to support and establish reliable financial systems that will support the FOSS business.

You will put your financial and analytical expertise into play

As our new Group Financial Controller you will become responsible for Group Statutory Accounts. You will also ensure Financial Compliance in all FOSS subsidiaries and completion of a number of annual reports. More specifically, you will be:

• Responsible for completion of FOSS Group Statutory Accounts
• Coordinating between FOSS and external auditors
• Collaborating closely with Finance Controllers in our subsidiaries and support on various financial aspects
• Maintaining and improving internal financial controls
• Ensuring correct consolidation and elimination of the group for monthly reports
• Maintaining our FOSS Accounting Manual and other internal procedures in accordance with Danish and international legislation

Your close colleagues will be Business Controllers supporting our Sales & Service subsidiaries around the world, Business Intelligence Specialists taking care of our QlikView and QlikSense environment and Controllers handling our price updates. In our team no one stands alone with a task - there will always be a colleague ready to help or spare with.

You are an experienced finance professional in tax and group controlling

If you are passionate about group financial controlling there could be many paths to this position. We imagine that you have a master’s degree in Finance and worked some years in Finance, preferably in an international organization or an audit company. You are familiar with Danish GAAP and have a basis understanding of IFRS standards. You are also familiar with consolidation, elimination and internal trade.

You are good with numbers and great with people

You will benefit from your strong communication skills when interacting with many different colleagues across our global organization. To succeed in this position, you will draw on your talent for working in teams and building relationships with many diverse people and cultures.

Other qualities that will help you succeed is your result-orientation and persistence on exploring data to get factual insights to create better results. Your structured working approach enables you to manage several projects simultaneously.

We will come to know you as a self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented person, who is not afraid to nudge, push and challenge behavior with colleagues and stakeholders to improve on work-processes and deliverables.

Since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you have full professional working proficiency in English.
