We are looking for a New Product Development (NPD) Project manager to lead the development of the next solution for our Grain & Oilseed segment. The project is high on the innovation scale and will take grain quality control to a new level by combining state-of the art technology with artificial intelligence.

The Job

As NPD Project manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development of new products from early concept phase, through the development phase with customer trials, to launch. The NPD project covers the total solution including instrument hardware and software, analytics packages, and cloud-enabled digital tools and services.

You will work with a highly skilled, cross-functional team to ensure that all project deliverables are completed to a high standard, and on time, which includes:

• Manage customer requirements, user experience and product specifications

• Project scoping, plan, drive gate deliveries, and manage budget

• Empower the development team, establish a teamwork based on trust, and make cooperation transparent with the use of agile principles

• Identify and mitigate risks to the project's success

• Communicate project status and align priority and mitigation with stakeholders and senior management

• Be the voice of the project, tying together all functions across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Service and Production, as well as customers, partners and FOSS’ sales and service subsidiaries across the globe

About you

You drive your project with a commercial mind-set and identify problems and optimization areas to create holistic solutions with business impact. You have a strong feel for stakeholder management and know that facilitation and nurturing a good collaboration is important to succeed. We expect that you have:

• Project manager (3+ years) experience in larger complex organizations and projects

• Technical/scientific background as Engineer or MSc.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously.

As a person you are curios, willing to dig into our customers’ business, or technical fields, and have a passion for innovation.  We expect you to be self-driven and a structured team player and a “get the job done” attitude.
