In the new position as CAD Project Manager, you will play an important role in implementation of our new PLM/PDM system including cloud collaboration with external suppliers and consultants. Focus is to collaborate creating data rather than handing over data. This is to be done through one united virtual model.
Your main responsibility will be to collect Business needs from R&D Engineers, Production, Procurement, Service etc. and work closely together with IT to find the right solutions. Project Management skills are important to ensure solid stakeholder management and successful implementation according to user needs.
You will become part of R&D Hardware Mechanics in Denmark, a team of highly skilled Mechanical Engineers focused on creating Platform Designs and improving the development process. The position is full time and the need for traveling is expected to be less than 10 days/year.
Your primary task will be to ease and optimize the development tools for multidiscipline R&D development, by collecting pain points and implement improvements.
Your main stakeholders are from R&D and involves disciplines form Mechanics, Electronics, Simulation, Test and Verification and Laboratory Chemistry. However, stakeholders from remaining parts of the organization and even outside the organization must be included also. Ultimately faster delivery to end customer is the overall goal. Therefore an important part of your work is updating own knowledge within new R&D development technologies.
You hold a degree in mechanical engineering and must be fluent in English and Danish. The preferred candidate will have minimum 5 years working experience in majority of below areas:
- Autodesk Inventor setup
- Autodesk Fusion 360 tools
- PDM/PLM setup
- Collect, understand, and prioritize needs/pain points from the Business
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge about CAD configuration and Modules/Platforms is considered an advantage, but not a must.
