FOSS Global Sourcing is searching for a Tactical Purchaser to join our team in Hillerød. The function is globally responsible for the strategic and tactical sourcing for our production sites in Hillerød, DK and in Suzhou, China.
As a Tactical Purchaser, you will be the important interface between production and suppliers, and you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the sourcing and supply chain strategies defined by Global Sourcing and according to the overall strategy within P&SC.
You will be reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing.
Global Sourcing is part of Production & Supply Chain (P&SC) and responsible for obtaining cost efficiency and implementing LEAN sourcing solutions throughout the inbound supply chain. We are 15 employees in Hillerød and 7 in China. P&SC aims to meet our customers’ needs for global analytic solutions by providing a scalable and competitive end-to-end supply chain.
As our new Tactical Purchaser your primary tasks will include:
- Supplier development in relation to Quality, Delivery & Cost performance
- Daily supplier communication and involved in regular supplier- and Quality Business Review meetings
- Benchmark activities and negotiations with suppliers
- Creating and maintaining sourcing master data in SAP and maintaining Frame Order Agreements
- Supporting engineering changes from a sourcing perspective
- Involvement in supply chain optimization projects
- Support daily operations related to delivery and quality issues
We are looking for a new colleague with at least 5+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, preferably with electronic products and components. The ideal candidate has a Supply Chain Management degree (e.g. Engineering or CBS) combined with a technical background and thereby having a good understanding of the whole Supply Chain from a technical perspective.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Danish and you know how to deliver precise communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Solid experienced in SAP and Microsoft Office is an advantage, especially handling large data output from SAP in Excel.
Being successful in the position is closely linked to your abilities to establish good working relationships with stakeholders and to perform in cross functional workflows. As a person you are a flexible, self-driven, result-oriented team player with strong commercial and analytical skills. You are structured with a good overview and comfortable with handling different tasks at the same time, as well as being able to work independently with own projects.
