We are looking for a Business Development Project Manager to join our ambitious Business Development team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic and commercial direction for the Service Solutions portfolio worldwide together with the Market Manager and the Concept and R&D team in FOSS global headquarters. 

About the position 

As Business Development Project Manager, you will be part of the global Business Development team of 7 dedicated business developers.

You will be working in close collaboration with customers, sales subsidiaries, R&D, Marketing, Customer & Sales Support and Group Management. Your job will be to bring together multiple people and perspectives to inspire the direction of the service and support portfolio and to develop future business models that reflect customers’ changing needs. Your primary location will be at FOSS Innovation Centre in Hillerød, and the job offers 25-30 days a year of travelling with the majority allocated to customer visits.

Primary tasks

You will be the key driver of the strategy, developing new Service Solution offerings and project creator for front-end innovation projects. As Business Development Project Manager, you will be a key part of a cross-functional Segment Management Team with participants from Market Management, R&D and Customer & Sales Support.

Business Development also works as an internal management-consulting unit providing Group Management with analytical support.


You have a Master’s degree within Economics, Business or Engineering with a business perspective or similar. You have minimum 3-5 years of experience from a business development role in an international company, management consulting, strategic marketing or similar. Experience with service economy, industrial service and solutions management will be an advantage as well as experience with combining operational and digital services.

In order to link market strategies with commercial solutions, you should have pronounced business acumen. We expect you to have an excellent analytical toolbox and solid networking and communication skills.
