FOSS Russia is expected to grow significantly and you will play an important role in making it happen. This is your opportunity to be part of our highly skilled and ambitious teams!

Based in Moscow, we offer you a unique opportunity to take on an influential role as Sales Manager with FEED or equipment background, reporting directly to Commercial Director for FOSS Russia.

You will be part of FOSS Russia, counting about 30 employees.

In this role, you will get the opportunity to be one of our pioneers in building up the sales, working with the most advanced technology and together with highly skilled and ambitious colleagues in strong teams.  

You will be based in Moscow, but have to be open for intensive travel as you will be covering all Russia as a territory.

There will thus be a fair amount of travel (40-60 travel days per year), both to our customers and across our various sales companies to share best practices.


Primary tasks

As Sales manager, you will be responsible for covering all Russia as a territory, establishing business plans and market plans. There will be a strong focus on developing the eastern part of the Russian market.

We thus expect you to have a deep knowledge of feed production as well as a good understanding of domestic mentality within the FEED industry.

Your primary tasks will include Business and Sales planning as well as leading qualification, following up on events and calls to selected customers and segments.

You will also represent FOSS when visiting customers and prepare and follow up on quotes.

Your primary tasks will include Business and Sales planning, as well as renewal and new sales of Service agreement to our existing customers.

You will be in charge of sales of reagents, consumables and spare parts to our existing customers, including preparation of- and follow-up on quotes. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our customer data is up-to-date.



Our ideal candidate holds excellent sales skills and comes with solid commercial experience (minimum 5 years) from a B2B company – specifically in FEED with a proven track record.

Good knowledge of wet chemistry Lab equipment is also expected.

We expect you to have a deep knowledge of feed production, as well as the equipment generally used in the industry, production troubleshooting, specifics of domestic raw material base and contemporary industry trends. You are skilled when it comes to using ROI and PIP as tools for promotion.

You must be action oriented with a proven ability to achieve results and have a strong customer focus with ability to interact with current and prospective customers to close sales or provide customer care. We expect you to have a high degree of integrity and professionalism and the ability to work with a variety of personalities and styles, as well as a structured work approach.

You ideally have a good understanding of wet chemistry when it comes to feed/lab, wine language could be a plus.

We expect you to have strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally, and to be  talented at building strong relationships both internally and externally. You are a hard worker and are team oriented.

You act as a self-starter and multi-tasker, with a capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.

You are dedicated to high performance sales and you thrive in an environment where two days never are the same.

Fluency in Russian is required and English at negotiation level is required.
