We’re looking for a Global Support Specialist to join our mission-driven team in the Laboratory Business Unit, specializing in Central Milk Testing solutions.

The role
This is your opportunity to jump straight into an exciting adventure as you get to join our Product Management team of 43 colleagues, based in both Hillerød, Denmark and Suzhou, China. Being part of the team directly supporting our first line service colleagues working behind the scenes, you will play a pivotal role in securing that FOSS global service organization as well as our distributors can provide an optimal service to our customers through providing training documentation and 2nd line support.

You will gain a central and global role, where you on Central Milk Testing instrument provide service knowledge and carry out support and troubleshooting as well as advisory and consultancy to FOSS Service organizations. A systematic and methodical approach is needed to succeed. You will be one of three Global Support Specialists and work in an engaged team of Product Managers and Product Specialists working across the entire organization.

Primary tasks
All tasks concern Central Milk Testing solutions, using FTIR and Flow Cytometry technologies.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to FOSS instruments and the use of them
  • Plan and conduct global classroom and webinar training to the technical service teams and distributors, including creating the material used for the training
  • Provide remote technical hardware and software support/troubleshooting for assigned portfolio of FOSS instruments. Provide onsite customer support in difficult cases
  • Handling of customer cases received from the field according to FOSS procedures
  • Review assigned New Product Development (NPD) projects for end-to-end serviceability and supportability
  • Provide input to hardware and software requirements to NPD projects

Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Has an electrical or mechanical education/background
  • Broad technical understanding of HW, SW and analytical solutions. Experience with troubleshooting instruments in the field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in a global company. Especially experience from the Central Milk Testing business and the understanding of FTIR and Flow cytometry technology
  • Is fluent in English – written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages is a clear advantage
  • Experience in working cross-functionally in a complex organization
  • Professional PC skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Planner, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of SAP
