The FOSS Software Services (FSS) division aims at delivering software tools to help food and feed producers in achieving better production efficiency and optimize yields. We are looking for a subject matter expert that will share our ambitions and further strengthen our team.    


You will help ensure our solutions meets the customer’s needs

You will be part of a software product team that delivers solutions to increase production efficiency and yield within food processing. Your role will be to support the team with domain knowledge on food processing and its continuous improvement. As the domain expert, you will collaborate with the product manager and the software developers to make sure customer needs are met. You will also be responsible to scout the market, making sure that our solution is up to speed with the latest processing tools and best practices.



In order to become successful in this role we imagine that you have a relevant academic background (e.g. M.Sc. Food Science & Technology) mixed with some years of experience. Ideally you:

  • Have at least 4 years hands-on experience as a quality manager, production manager or industrial engineer with a quality focus in a food or feed processing company.
  • Have a deep understating of production processes within one, or preferably more, of the following segments: dairy, feed, malting, milling or meat processing.
  • Are familiar with food processing environments: both in terms of equipment and software solutions.
  • Have been involved in process optimization and quality control projects, where you have been working with data and analytics.

We are looking for someone who is inspired by switching from working within processing to help crafting the next generation of software that supports food processors achieving better quality and yield. FSS is still a developing division and therefore you will fit in well if you are not afraid of dealing with uncertainty and keen on working within innovation.
