As a Product Safety Compliance Specialist, you will become a key part of our highly skilled and motivated compliance team in R&D Excellence & Product Compliance. Each member has their own area of responsibility with the importance of communicating and coordinating across the whole FOSS organization. We cover among other things Product Safety Compliance, Chemical Compliance, Process Compliance, and Policy Management.
In order to ensure product safety compliance, you will be responsible for training and monitoring relevant legislation and global regulations and standards related to electronics and mechanics. Furthermore, contact with necessary authorities and test labs will also be part of your job.
The global FOSS organization will rely on your regulatory guidance and expertise, in close cooperation with our innovative R&D efforts, as well as our Production and Service areas.
- Manage compliance programs in the organization (e.g., CE marking, CB-Schemes, FCC, etc.)
- Assist in the process of making risk assessments according to EN ISO 12100
- Work as a product compliance specialist to determine whether upcoming legislations apply to and affect existing products and production processes
- Develop and oversee monitoring and control systems to prevent and handle violations of external regulations and internal policies
- Keep up to date on relevant regulations and update procedures, reports etc. accordingly, and inform relevant stakeholders to prevent risks
- Assess, advise, and train important stakeholders within product safety.
To succeed in the role as a Product Safety Compliance Specialist you:
- hold a Bachelor or Master in Electronic Engineering, or similar
- have at least 5 years of product safety experience (i.e., LVD, EMC and MD) as well as general product compliance
- have experience in performing risk assessments according to EN ISO 12100
- speak and write Danish and English fluently.
It is an advantage if you have worked with different compliance schemes, e.g., CE-marking, CB-Schemes, FCC and similar and have worked with standards related to the safety requirements for electrical equipment and machinery.
You are expected to be a confident and self-driven with passion to learn and develop. You know how to gain knowledge in relation to compliance requirements in general – and you like to seek such knowledge.
Having strong interpersonal and communication skills, both as a presenter and as a facilitator, you can engage with multiple stakeholders in a constructive and engaging approach and can explain and communicate technical requirements in an inclusive way.
You are a good organizer with excellent planning skills and know how to prioritize in a fast-changing environment.
Last but not least, you are a true team player with a proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills.
