You’ll help provide world class support
We are looking for a Sales Assistant to a permanent, full-time position to join our team in Nanterre. As our new colleague, you’ll play an important part of running our business smoothly by helping with the following tasks:
- Handling daily customer support, e.g. helping with navigation in our webshop or creating or updating customer accounts.
- Collaborating with Group internal partners in English
- Preparing and processing quotes for spare parts, reagents and consumables
- Manage and solve price litigations, standard exchanges, and spare parts returns
- Handling incoming phone calls and shared mailbox
- Preparation of proforma invoices for down payment or prepayments
- Management of lease files set up when payment is done through bank lease
- Send and share with customers FDS (Security data sheets) or chemical conformity certificates
You will also handle the following tasks within order administration :
- Process instruments orders according to technical set up communicated by ISM (Industry Sales Manager)/ PAS (Product Application Specialist)
- Preparation of deposit request for instrument orders
- Create « installations service order » in CRM for instrument orders
Finally, you’ll also help with other ad hoc tasks such as archiving documents.
You will be working in close collaboration with the other Sales Assistants, our service coordinators, our sales, service & finance teams.
To become successful in this role, we imagine that you have a broad technical understanding of Sales processes, from quote to invoicing. Relevant experience could be from food and agricultural industries in a global company, or in any company selling B2B solutions.
It is a requirement that you have basic Knowledge / 1st experience of SAP ERP for SD / MM modules.
It is also important that you have solid verbal and written communication skills in French and English
