The FOSS Software Services (FSS) division aims at developing a software-as-a-service offering to help the large FOSS customer base of food manufacturers in achieving better production efficiency and optimize yields. We are looking for a food engineering/production efficiency expert that will share our ambitions and further strengthen our team.
You will be joining the newly established team for Production Efficiency and Yield Optimization (PEYO). Your role as food engineering/production efficiency expert will be to support the team with domain knowledge on food processing and its continuous improvement. Supporting our objective to deliver value to our customers, by leveraging three key capabilities:
- ability to produce insights from data & analytics
- delivery with an easy-to-use software-as-a-service
- food manufacturing knowledge in our key segments
Background: you have experience with food engineering, which you have acquired by having worked within food production or as a service/sales representative for a large industrial equipment manufacturer.
Expertise: you are an expert in food processing in one or more of the following segments: dairy, meat, grain, oil, or feed. Ideally you have also been working with continuous improvement through data analytics.
Soft skills: you are not afraid of dealing with uncertainty and comfortable in working in innovation. We expect you to be able to communicate and share your knowledge also with people with completely different backgrounds (ex. software developers) and be able to interact with customers for understanding their needs.

This is a full-time position, starting 1st of September 2022. The work can be conducted from Copenhagen (close to DR Byen Metro Station) where FSS PEYO team is based, or from our FOSS headquarter in Hillerød.
