This position is expected to provide FOSS’ products & solutions sales, business development and market position improvement in the state of Maharashtra & Goa. You will have to optimize market coverage & increase market shares for all the products covered under FOSS India. This is a key position to implement long term strategy of FOSS, it is based out of Bhopal and will report to the General Manager - Foss India.
The position requires extensive travelling and frequent interaction with Customers , Service team , Financial control team, Marketing team and distributors.
Your task will include overall responsibility to ensure
- Top line and bottom line targets achievement”, meaning generation of sales lead to closure of order and collection of 100% money
- Develop "New Business" opportunities for Foss India products in the region
- Further strengthening of business relationships with Customers.
- Improving customer share from Key Accounts by improved Key account management.
- Focus on enhancing market shares for the complete product range of Foss
- Develop, motivate and lead Distributor resources in the region and manage Distribution management by appointing and developing dealers.
- Reviewing & Strengthening Territory Management in the Region.
- Effective communication/coordination with Marketing.
- Adding new customers, new business opportunities ( new markets) and complete coverage of the Region.
- Focus on weak Industry segments and product lines.
- Regular feedback on Market and competition in the region.
- Coordination with Aftermarket and Financial control team.
- Keeping control on receivables.
You are a result oriented & experienced professional, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in institutional sales of capital goods, Laboratory & analytical equipments, Industrial marketing, Key Account Management, Distribution Management. Experience of handling products related to Food & Agri segment & Lab equipments will be an added advantage.
You come with a background in Engineering, Management qualification preferred. We can also look at Food Technologist/Bio Chemist with a Science degree from a recognized Institute/University.
In addition, you also come with knowledge & experience of handling Key accounts, wide range of customers & distributors as well as an understanding & experience of sales & marketing tools. You possess good presentation skills and know your way around Customer Relationship Management. You are a good user level of MS Office, Outlook express & other programmes as well as web based applications.
People describe you as a team player with a practical "hands-on" approach and multi tasking traits with excellent commercial and negotiating skills. You are able to work independently and manage a business, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, You are able to build effective working relationship with customers and colleagues and come with a sound commercial acumen.
