Join our largest sales and service subsidiary in North America
As Digital Services Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of the portfolio of digital services that support the broad range of instruments offered by FOSS. You will position and sell the digital services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to generate interest and influence sales resulting in revenue generation. In addition, you will provide input into market planning and technical support/direction of the services. You will be reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, working from a home office with some travel activities required (primary within US).
Position Requirements and Specifications
The job is to position and sell digital services to customers who have purchased or are in the process of purchasing FOSS instruments.
- You will be responsible for overall sales performance that meets and maximizes customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals.
- Experience and knowledge in digital solutions (cloud-based data management and/or SAAS) strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential FOSS digital solutions that meet the customer’s needs.
- Comfortable positioning and demonstrating digital offerings to customers either individually or supported with a FOSS technical team.
- Strong ability to manage projects through integration with deadlines in mind.
- Skillset in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel, Salesforce experience is a plus
- Understanding of the food and agricultural production industries a plus
You are action oriented with a proven ability to achieve results, and you have a strong customer focus, as well as the ability to effectively interact with current and prospective customers to close sales or provide customer care. You also excel at demonstration skills highlighting software and capabilities.
People describe you as a self-starter and multi-tasker, self-motivated, with a capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment, and a high degree of integrity and professionalism. You come with strong relationship building skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
