The job

We are looking for a customer-centric Service Manager to lead our highly skilled Service team in FOSS Nordic. FOSS Nordic is our sales & service subsidiary covering Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, and Faroe Islands. As Service Manager in FOSS Nordic, you will have 8 direct reports who are committed to offering our customers outstanding service.

Reporting to the VP Service EMEA, you will become a member of the the European Service Management team with your 7 fellow Service Managers across Europe. Further, you will interact with FOSS’ Service Managers across the Globe. Your base will be in our Innovation Centre in Hillerød, but on a normal year, you should expect to be travelling approx. 40% - mostly within the region.

 

Primary tasks

As Service Manager, your main task will be to support and motivate your team to offer outstanding service while contiuously increasing the efficiency of the team. Your success will be measured by the increase in customer satisfaction & loyalty, the satisfaction and motivation of your team, and the increase in efficiency of the Service team. You will be expected to have high interaction with your team of one Service Coordinator based in the office in Hillerød, Denmark, one Product Application Specialist based in Aarhus, Denmark, and our 6 Service Engineers located across the Danish and Swedish geographies.

Further, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the subsidiary as member of the management team alongside the General Manager and Financial Controller.

Your main stakeholders will be the team of Regional Sales Managers covering Denmark and Sweden as well as our Administrative staff in Hillerød, Denmark.

You are expected to contribute to setting the future direction of Service in FOSS and implement global projects in FOSS Nordic to ensure alignment with other FOSS service organizations.

 

Qualifications

The qualifications we are looking for are:

  • Min. 10 years experience within Service operation of capex products or related and at least 5 years’ management experience.
  • Experience within the food and agricultural or  analytical equipment industries is considered an advantage.
  • Command of Danish / Swedish at a professional level and since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in English.
