For our company in Pécs, Hungary, we are looking for a skillful FEA simulation engineer with a “can do” attitude to join a new team supporting FOSS Product Innovation. You will help us develop world leading instruments from concept until release to production and sales. Being first and best takes something extra. The job

As a FEA simulation engineer, you play a central role in the development process and you will get unique opportunities to work with many different and challenging technologies. As a part of a simulation team in Pécs, Hungary you are expected to work closely together with your local colleagues and report to the simulation team lead in Denmark.

The job will involve working on one or more simulation projects to support design decisions. Starting with the project definition and solution strategy, followed by execution and presentation of results. There will be frequent visits to the R&D department in Hillerød, Denmark to get a visual and hands on understanding of the problems and meet the other project team members.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate holds a degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field and has experience in some of the following:

  • Structured and process-oriented work approach
  • Keeping deadlines in tight schedules
  • Very good communication skills
  • English language at a high level is required
  • Experience with mechanical hardware development
  • Various types of stress/strain analysis
  • Vibration analysis
  • Good knowledge about materials
  • Experience with FEA SW, e.g., Dassault Abaqus
  • Experience with CAD SW, e.g., Autodesk Inventor
