The job

In our Global Marketing department we have high ambitions. We want to ensure we build a strong position for FOSS around the world and that we enable and accelerate growth. In our Sales Support & Launch Excellence team, we are ambitious in our delivery of relevant customer communication and sales support tools. Our key focus is to ensure that commercial initiatives are supported by targeted and relevant communication to our customers as well as professionally managed and deployed by our global sales force.

The Marketing Program Manager role strengthens and anchors the focus on how marketing strategy and segments plans translate into effective tactics and activities. As Marketing Program Manager, you will support the creation of an effective segment marketing plan, and define how to execute with your Global Marketing colleagues. In this role, you will serve both as an advisor to the Market Managers, and as the project manager for executing marketing plans in close collaboration with Global Marketing colleagues and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Primary tasks

As Marketing Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development, management and execution of the communication programs within selected industries including:

  • Communication advisor to the market managers in the annual GMP planning process - including insights/analytics, targeting, concepting, messaging, channels and media planning
  • Ensure commercial initiative briefs are planned and delivered for timely execution of all commercial initiatives within program responsibility
  • Facilitate bi-annual commercial initiative and event planning (and ad-hoc activities) incl. create content marketing plan and commercial initiative execution plan
  • Develop communication to focus on customer pains and gains by proactively seek customer insights and gain business understanding
  • Develop key sales tools in cooperation with Market Managers
  • Quality assurance of all communication and content in sales tools and communication materials and manage approval process with market managers
  • Project manage marketing communication programmes and activities based on GMP commercial initiative plan
  • Work closely with Launch and Mobilization managers in planning the mobilization of sales for commercial initiatives and new launches

Qualifications

You ideally come with a minimum of 8-10 years of marketing experience from a B2B company (preferably a B2B company with solutions of high complexity). You have extensive tactical and hands-on experience with planning and executing marketing communications in close collaboration with stakeholders in marketing and sales.

You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree - preferably in Marketing or related field, and possess experience in developing messaging and value propositions to specific target groups.

You possess profound project management skills and experience in managing complex marketing projects focusing on setting clear targets, milestones, roles & responsibilities, keeping budgets and deliver timely. You also have analytical skills and a strong focus on outcome and performance measurement driven by a curious mindset to seek insights to get a better understanding of customer behavior and the efficiency of e.g. communication and channels. Last but not least, you have digital marketing experience and an understanding of marketing technologies to enable demand creation - including SEO, SoMe, CMS, Marketing Automation and CRM.

You are very structured and able to manage many projects at the same time, as well as result oriented, business focused and keen on exploring data to get factual insights to create better results.

People describe you as self-driven, proactive and solution-oriented person, who is not afraid to nudge, push and challenge behavior with colleagues and stakeholders to improve on work-process and deliverables. You are robust and excellent in stakeholder management, and know how to motivate to deliver on time and create team spirit. Last but not least, you are optimistic (yet realistic) about what is possible.

Since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both Danish and English.

You will be part of a team of 9 very dedicated specialists focusing on planning and developing commercial initiatives that bring life to the overall Global Marketing Plan, and directly impact the Foss business. The Marketing Program Manager role is still new in FOSS and together with your key colleagues, you will be able to further shape and scope this role for the end goal of establishing a strong and influential role within Global Sales and Marketing.
