We are looking for a Product Engineering Manager, to act as a manager for the Product Engineering Team.
Your primary tasks will consist in leading the team responsible for investigation of defects from production line and customer service for all products under mass production, including customer complaints, and production defects. You will also improve the product design by continuously resolving design cases.
We expect you to lead technical knowledge transfer during the product transfer from our Danish Innovation Center, set up the local production process and perform relevant training, analysis and to resolve technical problems during transfer and make final approval of the new production line.
You will provide technical support for supplier quality issues coming from the Quality department, as well as lead test and approval for parts within localization project.
As Product Engineering Manager, you will lead the ECM process and make sure all engineering changes are managed well. You will also continuously optimize the ECM process, and ensure good quality of technical documentation released by the team.
On a day to day basis, you will support the work of the Product Engineering team, and ensure good and uniform work flow, both inside the team and with cross-functional teams. You may also get other tasks assigned to you by our site manager.
Qualifications and skills
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor degree or above, with a major in mechanical/industrial engineering or similar.
Our ideal candidates comes with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience (including at least 3 years experience within a managerial role) in a manufacturing environment of final product - experience with analytical instrument is preferred.
As we communicate with our Danish Innovation Center on a daily basis, we expect you to ´have a good level in English, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to communicate effectively. Ideally, you have experience working for a foreign company.
