For our Headquarter in Denmark (Hillerød), we are looking for a Global Market Manager for the Grain, Milling and Oils segment. You will take the lead in creating growth and an engaging winning mentality in FOSS’ 2nd biggest segment.

The job and the team
You will join the Market Management team in Global Marketing, where we are 8 Global Market Managers that each cover one of FOSS’ core industries, as wells as Market Specialists, and Market Developers.
The team is responsible for management of FOSS’ core markets and the work includes portfolio- and product lifecycle management (e.g. launch, rejuvenation and pruning); pricing; tactical marketing planning, where we plan, drive the execution, follow-up, and adjust on global initiatives. We are building an efficient collaboration between sales efforts and marketing initiatives – where you as Market Manager will set campaign and communication objectives, and make targeting decisions. You will also develop and improve sales tools, and work with and train the global sales forces.
As Market Manager, you will also chair the Grain, Milling and Oils Segment Management team, a cross organizational forum with representatives from Business Development, Service and R&D – which is accountable for growing the segment business both on the short and long term. We also work in close cooperation with FOSS’ global sales and service companies and Corporate Management.
The job requires approximately 40 days of travelling – split between FOSS sales & service companies, exhibitions and customer and partner visits.
On a day-to-day basis, you will lead the commercial operations for FOSS’ Grain, Milling and Oils business across customer segments. Your main tasks will be centered around the development of the Global Marketing Plan and execution hereof, meaning you will set the direction for the business on a global level and in close collaboration with FOSS’ sales and service companies. Your tasks will vary from re-pricing initiatives and go-to-market planning for new products to the development of sales tools and training of sales representatives, all depending on the marketing plan and strategy set out by you. Ad-hoc tasks such as deep dive analyses and strategy support to subsidiaries will also occur. Furthermore, you will be key in the development of the long-term strategy and portfolio roadmaps in close collaboration with your colleagues in Business Development and Research & Development.
- Experience from a business-to-business environment is required. Experience from agro-business is an advantage.
- You probably have a Master’s degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
- +7 years of experience from commercial role (Global Marketing Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Manager, Business Unit Manager, Management consultant or similar)
- Experience with- and demonstrated skills of using market and product management tools (e.g. Market & product plans, financial reports, market reports etc.)
