We are looking for a Business Development Project Manager to join our ambitious global Business Development team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic and commercial direction for the Raw Milk Testing segment together with the Market Manager as well as the next generation of milk testing solutions sold worldwide.

The job

As Business Development Project Manager, you will be part of the global Business Development team responsible for developing FOSS’ strategy and market solutions within Raw Milk Testing. Business Development is a diverse team of 10 enthusiastic and supportive colleagues focusing on developing FOSS’ future offerings to the food and agriculture industry.

You will be working in close collaboration with customers, R&D, Global Marketing, Customer & Sales Support and Group Management.

Your job will be to bring together multiple people and perspectives to inspire the direction of the segment. The primary location will be at FOSS Innovation Centre in Hillerød, and the job offers 25-30 days a year of travelling with the majority allocated to customer visits.

Primary task

You will be developing new offerings within milk testing and be the project creator for front-end innovation projects as well as the key driver of the segment’s strategy.

As Business Development Project Manager, you will be a key part of a cross-functional Segment Management Team with participants from Global Marketing, R&D and Customer & Sales Support.

Business Development also works as an internal consulting unit providing Group Management with analytical support.

Qualifications

You have a master’s degree within economics, business or engineering. You have 2-4 years of experience from a business development role in an international company, management consulting or similar.

Experience within the food and agricultural industry or the analytical industry will be an advantage. In order to link market strategies with commercial solutions, you should have pronounced business acumen. We expect you to have an excellent analytical toolbox and communication skills.

Personal skills

You are ambitious, curious and want to make a difference. The ability to build positive relations and communicate clearly to stakeholders throughout the organization is very important to succeed in the job.

You are able to take the lead, voice your opinion and challenge in constructive ways. You must be confident in your own ability to move projects forward and deal with hurdles along the way.

You thrive with responsibility and have a talent for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts.
