Project Manager/Product Owner for R&D Test

We are looking for an experienced Test Solutions Developer to join our R&D test team at our fast growing innovation center in Denmark, and take on an exciting and technically challenging position. If that sounds like something you would like to get out of bed for every Monday morning, then read on.
The R&D test team is a central part of the R&D Services organisation with a vison to develop, maintain and support the organization with high quality state of the art production test equipment. You will be working in an interesting and interdisciplinary department with 14 specialists within the fields of test solutions, electronics, software, mechanics, optics, laser, X-ray and chemistry.
In this position, you will be part of our R&D test team that in close co-operation with our product programs analyze, define, design, implement and test the next generations of components and instruments.
We are looking for a strong product owner, that can interface to and collaborate with our R&D product programs. Important for you to secure task alignment between the programs value streams and our test ressources. The test team is an important player in R&D to enable our production facilities to produce the new products.
As Test Solutions Product Owner, your primary task is to co-operate with our segment and project managers in FOSS, and secure a good understanding of tasks and priorities to test team and manage the team backlog. By enhancing our Agile development processes (SAFe/SCRUM/KANBAN) and tools (TFS/JIRA) in the team, you will build up together with your manager an agile team with a high degree of project execution exellence.
Besides your role as product owner, you will support implementation of test for our new generation of products. You will use your technical and personal skills to analyze, define, implement, test and release new versions of test solutions based on NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW.
Furthermore, you will be involved in documentation of your own work and prepare descriptions of user manuals in English for production in Denmark and China.
Our ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, for example as Electronic Engineer, Software Engineer or similar, with minimum 3 year’s experience within agile development and production test solutions.
This job requires relevant work experience from similar R&D companies, and experience as product owner or project manager in an agile environment is a prerequisite for this position.
We are enhancing our agile development processes (SAFe/SCRUM/KANBAN) and tools (TFS/JIRA) in the test team, so experience within these areas is needed to be a key person in this process.
You ideally also have good experience with:
- Production test solutions (hardware and software) with NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW.
- Functional (and structural PCBA) test techniques for PCBAs, modules and instruments
- Production equipment, support and maintenance in general
- General test techniques (LV FPGA, Vision, Boundry Scan, Flying Probe and more)
- Office 365 work and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Planner)
Since FOSS is a global organization, and since you will be writing documentation and descriptions in English, it is important that you have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
You work systematically and in a structured way, and you thrive on solving complex technical and practical problems.
You are proactive and able to seek out the necessary information for your projects as well as follow through the projects. Furthermore, you are a team player and you are good at communicating your knowledge and ideas.
