CFD Simulation Engineer for Mechanical   Development

For our company in Pécs, Hungary, we are looking for a skillful CFD simulation engineer with a “can  do” attitude to join a new team supporting FOSS Product Innovation. You will   help us develop world leading instruments from concept until release to production and sales. Being first and best takes something extra. The job

As a CFD simulation engineer, you play a central role in the development process and you will get unique opportunities  to work with many different and challenging technologies. As a part of a simulation team in Pécs, Hungary you are expected to work closely together with your local colleagues and report to the local simulation team leader.

The job will involve working on one or more simulation projects to support design decisions. Starting with the project definition   and solution strategy, followed by execution and presentation of results. There will be frequent visits to the R&D department in Hillerød, Denmark to get   a visual and hands on understanding of the problems and meet the other   project team members.

The candidate

You must share our passion for mechanical and technology development at a very high and challenging level. You are committed to deliver quality simulations and   communicate the findings. Besides being one of the best in the field of mechanical simulations, you are also self-motivated. You are a natural team   player and people like working with you because you have a positive mindset even when you are challenged and deadlines are tight.

What is expected of   the candidate

The preferred candidate   holds a degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field and has experience   in some of the following:

      
  • Structured and process-oriented work approach
  •   
  • Keeping  deadlines in tight schedules
  •   
  • Very good communication skills
  •   
  • English language at a high level is required
  •   
  • Mechanical hardware development
  •   
  • Background in fluid mechanics and physics
  •   
  • CFD simulations of heat transfer and multiphase flow
  •   
  • Experience with StarCCM+ and OpenFOAM
  •   
  • Experience  with CAD e.g. Autodesk Inventor
