For our Headquarter in Hillerød, we are searching for a Group Business Controller to join our Finance team. The finance team supports FOSS’ Sales & Service Subsidiaries across 30 countries.

As Group Business Controller in FOSS, you will work in an international environment with the opportunity to continuously develop our strong financial controlling within the FOSS Group.

The team of Group Business Controllers completes internal audit visits, secures compliance and improves governance within the FOSS Group. The team also supports expansions through formation of new subsidiaries and M&A activities. In close corporation with Group Reporting team, the Group Business Intelligence specialists, and the Finance Compliance specialists, you will be supporting and developing the Group Finance function in FOSS in order to support the continues growth of the FOSS Group.

The job

As a Group Business Controller, you will be the one-point-of-entry for the local financial managers in our Sales & Service Subsidiaries. Reporting to Head of Group Business Controlling, you will be responsible for support to a number of subsidiaries. This support covers e.g. control of monthly reporting, assistance during the budget process and Year End completion. In order to secure compliance among our systems and FOSS policies, you will also be training and supporting the local financial managers in the Sales and Service Subsidiaries. 

As a Group Business Controller, you will also be supporting Group functions of Sales, Customer & Sales Support and Digital Business. Primary work place is in our headquarter FOSS Innovation Centre in Hillerød. Since you will be supporting our Sales and Service Subsidiaries, we expect you to be travelling approximately 20-25 days per year. 

Primary tasks

You will be supporting and improving data quality, governance and compliance across FOSS subsidiaries. 

This will include: 

  • Visits to Sales & Service Subsidiaries for internal audit reviews and “deep dive sessions” with management group
  • Control of monthly reporting from Sales & Service Subsidiaries
  • Support and training of local financial managers in FOSS reporting systems and policies
  • Control all financial aspects including local statutory accounts 
  • Support of Transfer Pricing documentation
  • Complete analysis on group level for various business cases using data from SAP, Business Intelligence systems (QlikView) and group reporting and consolidation system (INFOR CPM) 


We imagine that you come from a position as auditor - or that you have worked in a similar position for some years. You hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have good knowledge of Danish GAAP. You are fluent in both Danish and English and you are used to working with people with different backgrounds and cultures. You are super user in Microsoft Office package and have some experience in SAP and QlikView.

You like to have responsibility and have a talent for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. It is important that you are able to take the lead, raise your voice and challenge the organisation in a constructive way.
