Food Analytics Conference 2022

on Analytical Technologies for Food Quality and Sustainable Food Production

We are excited to welcome back the Food Analytics Conference on November 16th, 2022, at University of Copenhagen, in connection to the Nils Foss Prize award ceremony.

The Food Analytics Conference is a full day conference, which builds on presentations by inspiring guest speakers and leading food scientists from all over the world. The focus will be on research leading to significant breakthroughs in the application of analytical technologies that leads to improvements in sustainability, quality, and safety in food production.

The conference is hosted by the University of Copenhagen and sponsored by FOSS. Following the conference, the Nils Foss Excellence Prize of 100,000 EUR will be awarded to a scientist who has demonstrated excellent innovative research within analytical technologies and thus made significant contributions in the food, feed and/or agricultural area. In addition, the Nils Foss Talent Prize of 15,000 EUR will be awarded to a talented and promising upcoming scientist.

Program and Speakers

The latest winners of the Nils Foss Excellence Prize, professor Roy Goodacre, and the Nils Foss Talent Prize, assistant professor Mario Martinez-Martinez, will be presenting on their relative fields of expertise, which will serve among the themes for the conference.
