After last year’s cancellation, due to COVID-19, we are happy to be back again and ready to launch the new Food Analytics Conference, which will take place in connection to the prizes on November 17th, 2021.
The conference is the first of its kind and focus is on research leading to significant breakthroughs in the application of analytical technologies that leads to improvements in sustainability, quality and safety in food production.
Food Analytics Conference will be a full day conference with presentations for which abstracts are invited. See Call for Papers.
The conference is hosted by FOSS and following the conference, the Nils Foss Excellence Prize of 100,000 EUR will be awarded to a scientist who has demonstrated excellent innovative research within analytical technologies and thus made significant contributions in the food, feed and/or agricultural area.
The latest prize winners (2019 due to COVID-19 in 2020), professor David Julian McClements (University of Massachusetts) and assistant professor Qian Janice Wang (Aarhus University), will give keynote lectures at the conference.
